Happy Halloween

This morning I got up and went to class... we started learning about parabolas... I learned that in the 10th grade. It was reall boring. After that I went to track practice. We did 2 450s, 350, 250. I must say I think I did really well. CT told me good job at the end. Then we all went and ate lunch. I love my track team. The people on it are so much fun to hang out with. There is never a dull moment. After lunch Jessica(girl on the team) and I went to my room and baked chocolate cupcakes. I decided at the begining of October that I wanted to make some special treat for the people that work in the caf. Thier jobs suck. I just wanted them to know that they are appreciated (especially by me beause I love to eat) for all the hard work they do for us. So I searched online for a halloween treat and I decided on spider cupcakes. They were chocolate with chocolate icing, they had red m&m eyes, and chocolate twizzler legs. I honestly had never heard of a chocolate twizzler until I found them at Walmart while unsuccessfully looking for black lace liquorish. Jessica is a baking guru, so I had her help me. She brought some hard core baking materials like the thing you put the icing on with(I forgot its name). When I finally took the cupcakes to the caf at 7 they were like, "That is so sweet of you." and stuff like that. I wanted to by anonymous, but they asked my name so I just said Alex. They wanted a picture of me too. I just wanted to be nice and not take credit for it... I should have had someone else deliver them. Ashlee and Beth helped me take them. Jessica left before that because she was going to go carve pumpkins with her boyfriend. After that I showered and got ready for a Halloween party. I was a flapper from the roaring 20s. The party was with RUF, the campus ministry I like to attend. There were a lot of people there, and I talked to quite a few people, but I mostly hung out with some people from the cross country team. The RUF minister dressed as Polly Bleiker from Juno with the bright yellow shorts and headband and the tall socks. His wife, Caroline, is pregnant right now so she was Juno. I love that movie. Because I am lame I left at 10 even though I got there at 8:30. I don't like parties. I prefer "get togethers" with much less people. Hanging out with the track team is my kind of thing. It is now 11:30 and past my bed time... again... I am lame. I hope everone had a nice last day of October. I can't believe it is already November... October went by SO FAST. I only have 4 weeks left before finals.

I hate having 41 cent stamps

I have not been feeling very good for the past week. My back was hurting really bad on the right side in the middle(vertically). I went to the trainer and they figured it was a muscled spasm so we did heat and stem on it. It definitely made it feel better, but it still hurts. That started on the 19th. During the week I started feeling really bad when my stomach starting hurting(trainer thinks it might be indigestion) and I started hurting in my lower abdomen on the sides and my lower back on the sides. I told the trainer and now I am going to go see the doctor tomorrow. The doctor comes at 1, and I already told CT about it. I told her where the pain was and she was like, "That's not good... that sounds like kidneys. " The trainer said it might be kidneys, too. So I will find out tomorrow, and I hope it can be taken care of pretty easily b/c I am Hurting and when the pain comes nausea comes with it. I took pepto bismol to see if it would help with my stomach. I know I have already complained enough, but my knees are Killing me. They hurt so bad.
Moving on. Today at practice we ran 200s. Coach Cain was there and he had the throwers(shot and jav) and the pole vaulters go with him. I was so envious of them. Not that I wanted to get out of running... they had to do the running too. I wanted to pole vault. Even since Luke started teaching me last track season I want to do it so bad. When I come home in December I am going to whip out the little 100 lb pole and go crazy.

Random Thoughts

I was just sitting in the caf eating all alone(i do that almost every weekend) and I started watching the people that came in. I noticed a few things like "pretty" people only hang out with other "pretty" people and rather unattractive people hang out with the like. Why is this? Is it because the "pretty" people are just to stuck up to hang out with the unattractive people or is their just some unexplainable attraction between people that compels them to hang out with people that are on their level of attractiveness. Another thing... why do different groups, like athletes or nerds(Luke)[jk], look so different? Even when they are younger, before they start working out like crazy to get giant muscles or stay inside to long and their skin looks like paste, there is just something that sets them apart... I'm not talking about the clothes they wear or the things things they do, but some kids just look like they are going to be a certain way when they get older, and it usually ends up that way. If someone looked at me, what group would they think I belonged to? I know the answer is not the athletes, so don't even try to use it. I don't think I look like the nerdy kids or the preps. Greasers or Socials(what movie?). Anyway... that was just my thoughts as I sat alone with my beef and carrots, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
I know this is a long time from now, but I was thinking about what I might give up for lent. I thought about caffeinated drinks b/c I drink tea every day at lunch and I'm sure it can't be to good for you, but the caf sweet tea is delicious. That is an option, but I would rather give up something I spend to much time on... like Facebook or solitaire. I gave up computer games last year which ended up being a pretty good idea. I didn't waste my time with it and I had more time for other things. I know if I give up Facebook I will spend all my time solitaire, hearts, freecell, and spider solitaire. Maybe I should give up my computer except for the things I need like my UAH e-mail, studying, this(my blog)(its not that important, but I would like to keep you informed and I don't spend that much time on it).

Ran out of orange juice last night :(

Last night I had my biology test and after that my bio lab. We finished at 8:56, so I didn't go to Chickfila like I wanted to... it closes at 9. I had a coupon for a free chicken sandwich and I wanted some curly fries. So instead I went to Waffle House. This is my 3rd time to ever eat there (the first with Leah after watching Olympics at coaches house and the 2nd with Leah after Big Spring Jam). I have decided that I like it very much. I always get a waffle and hash browns... delicious. This time I sat at the bar and ate by myself. I didn't mind though. I like being alone sometimes.
Tonight a bunch of people from the track team are going to see Saw 5. Wednesday they watched Saw 1 and Saw 2. Last night they watched Saw 3 and Saw 4. Leah kept trying to get me to come out of my room and watch them, but I refused. I don't like scary movies. I don't want to be afraid of going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I am not afraid of anything because I know that whatever happens in my life is Gods will, and I trust in His plan for me. I don't want scary movies messing that up and spooking me out all the time. They are all just filling your head with junk. The only true story movie that has ever been made is.... _____ ___ .... "I do believe in Faeries! I do! I do!" Who can name the movie first? Jk about it being real though.
Julia and Latrice were trying to talk me into it by saying it is a team building experience and i won't even be scary because they make jokes the entire time... I still don't want to go. They said they would kidnap me anyway.
It is raining today... We were supposed to go to the hill too. I got a text from CT saying practice wasn't until 11:30 today... I thought that was strange. She is probably just waiting b/c she knows it will stop raining by then and we will get to run up a muddy hill instead.

My Tummy Hurts

I had a great time this weekend (except Sunday when I had to leave). I liked seeing Everyone, and it was nice to see how many people shouted my name and ran to give me a hug when they saw me. It was really great when I surprised my mom, Luke, and Joseph. My mom and Luke were shocked, but I scared Josey (and he poked himself in the eye.. sorry about that).

I got to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. I defiantly liked it. I liked running in the fun run and being in the parade. There really isn't much fun to be had at Fun Fest... I've never really liked it, but I've had to be there every year b/c the run and being in the parade for band.

Yesterday's track practice was 10 200s, and today's was 4 500s. They hurt but were defiantly doable(is that an actual word?).

Biology test on Thursday. Math test on Friday. I'm Ready, I'm Ready.... Danni... That was from Spongebob.

I'm Ready, I'm Ready

I am ready for this weekend!!! I will be taking a trip. After track practice on Friday(hills) Leah and I are going to Oxford to spend the night at her house. Then on Saturday I will see my awesome peeps run until they can't run anymore. Go Chargers Cross Country! I will spend the weekend there and I'm pretty sure I will have a really good time. Leah told me of some interesting stuff we will get to do. Maybe carve a pumpkin, but I think we are going to wait so we can do it with Kristine. I want to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Saturday night. I will then go back home to the dorm. I probably won't want to leave. I decided I like changing the color of random parts to make it more interesting.
I wish I could go to the homecoming game this week to watch my silly starfish run around with his flag.
Danni... read the title of this post... what is it from? If you get this right I will give you a big hug the next time I see you.

Family Reunion

I loved seeing mom, dad, danni, and luke this weekend! That made me happy and now I can make it through the next 8 weeks. On a different note... the bee sting that I acquired while I was camping with my loved ones still HURTS. It is about an inch wide and hard. I wish it was stop hurting because it has been 2 1/2 days and I would like for it to stop bothering me while I walk to my classes.
Today's workout we ran a 600, 500, 300, 300. Then we did weights. I weighed myself... 98 lbs. I'm getting closer. CT said her goal is 100 lbs by December. We shall see.
Tomorrow is our Health and Safety inspection. An RA will come to our room and make sure it is clean and we don't have anything illegal like toasters or candles. After returning from my long journey from Mississippi(only 2 hours(the fam had 8 hours)) I put everything on my floor and I just now cleaned it up. We now have a squeaky clean shower and toilet that you could drink from if you were desperately thirsty and the sink was just to far away. I need to do laundry tomorrow night.

3 more days! I get to see my family and luke. I am so excited. The only question is... where?

Lonley Saturday

I did it! I changed my tire and took it to get fixed. It took me a month, but I did it. Someone should send me something as a reward. I also went to Walmart to buy water and orange juice. I had to scrape all the change out of my wallet to pay for it, but I have my orange juice and thats all that matters. Right now Leah is in Tennesee and the -cc> team is at a meet. I am very lonely, but I am enjoying the time to myself. I am going to spend my evening studying.
I can't wait for the next 5 days to pass. I get to see my mum, papi, little queen, and my boo. It has almost been 2 months and I am ready to see them!
