House Pics
Finally got some pictures of the house... The words go with the picture below it.
Here is the front. There is a porch hidden behind the hedges.
Living Room. There is a chimney, but it has a lock on it.
That door leads to...
The dining room which will most likely be our study area.
Which then goes into the kitchen. Electric stove and refrigerator.
Other side of the kitchen. The door on the right goes into...
The utility area which goes outside. Comes with a washer and dryer.
Bedroom 1 has 2 doors. One to the hallway and one to the dining/study room.
Bedroom 2 is in the corner.
Bedroom 3 (the biggest) is opposite room 2.
Our single bathroom is in between room 1 and room 2.
We have a storage unit in the back yard.
Backside of the driveway.
Front side of the driveway. It can fit 6 cars.

I hope these pictures are good. Sheryl took them, and I don't personally like some of the camera angles she took, but it works.
I am running the 400 and doing the triple jump this weekend.
I realized that Easter is Sunday, and then there will be no more Cadburry eggs for another year. How terribly sad that will be.
Luke applied for a desk job for next year. It would be a great/easy job for him. Hopefully he get it.
And now some high quality entertainment brought to you by Luke.
Don't forget the volume.

Alabama Relays 4x400
I'm too tired to write a blog right now. I'll post one tomorrow. Good job to Luke for jumping 16' 3/4"... I'm proud of you. Next stop: 5 meters.

Nothing Like A Hot Shower And A Cold Coke
I have made today Caramel Cadbury Egg Day!!!!! Luckily I had one left to eat. Note to self: Go to Walmart to get more.
Current mood: Hispanic... if that makes sense. I made a playlist on my iTunes of all my music that is in Spanish and I'm listening to it now. I feel like eating aroz y ropa vieja in a kitchen that is warm and smells like the outdoors because they have the windows open... because its cheaper than cranking the AC. I would like to go to South America for the Peace Corps. Then I would be forced to learn more Spanish. I want to take a class or something, but I don't want to pay so much for something I could learn elsewhere.
I added "See a Broadway show" to my goal book today. I saw a few short clips of Wicked online, and it looks to good. Everyone who has seen it says it is amazing.
A few things about the house... It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, new carpet, electric, refrigerator w/ice maker, dish washer, central HVAC, washer and dryer, and a vacuum. The chances are looking pretty good right now. I'll have to get parent approval once Julia's dad approves of it now.
I think we are going to eat Chinese tonight.

Good Day
Today is International Waffle Day! I want to go to Chickfila and get waffle fries... I love those.
So for the longest time the search for where we are to live next year was dragging very slowly. Everytime we talk about going to look at appartments it never happens or something comes up. Most the time when I see flyers posted for houses I don't even bother looking at them. Monday I happened to see one and decided to rip one of the numbers off for kicks. I told Julia about it, but she didn't seem too crazy about the idea. I mentioned it one more time Tuesday evening and Julia and Leah were like, "Sure. Call the guy and we can go look at it." I don't think they expected me to, but I went in and called him right then and made an appointment for Wednesday at 4:45. They seemed suprised when I walked back in the room and told them. So Wednesday we went to the house, which is very close to campus, and checked it out. Going and actually seeing the house seemed to excite them because they are very much ino the idea now. Julia's mom is a real estate agent, so she knows all about these things. We told her about it and she is going to check it out today. She is also going to check on the police reports and see if there are and sex offenders in the area. I am really excited about it, and hope it works out. If Sheryl approves of it I will give mom and papi more information about it.
Yesterday I took a Cal C test. I aced it.
Tomorrow is Make Your Own Holliday Day! I haven't decided what I want my holiday to be. Maybe... I don't know. I'll come up with something good.
I reorganized my junk today, and I even threw some away. I am proud of myself. It looks much better now.
What crazy weather we have. Monday-Rain and Snow. Tuesday-Hot. Wednesday-HOT! Thursday-Lots of rain. Hopefully tomorrow is nice.
This weekend I am running the 200 on Saturday and the 4x400 on Sunday. Last year this meet was really cold. Hopefully the weather is better this year.
I found an english class to take this summer, and I emailed the teacher that is doing C++. I told her I would be away, and she said that the course is as long as it is to allow vacation time. I would have 2 weeks to complete the exams, and we can move them around by a few days if I let her know when I'll be gone. I'm excited that this is coming together. Now I just have to ask my advisor if they will accept the credits and finish applying to the schools.
Time to go to practice. We are at Spragins today due to rain.

The Longest Post Ever
I wrote this blog Friday, but didn't get it posted, so now you get 3 days of my ramblings in one.
Goodness gracious I am tired. Like a bum I layed in bed until 10 until I decided to get make myself some breakfast. The only milk we had was 0% which is thin enough to be water, but it tastes like milk. I didn't want "milk water" for my cereal. Disgusting. So I made oatmeal. Sadly it would not thicken like I wanted it to because I added too much milk water. Disgusting. I also had two pieces of toast and I was going to have some applesauce, but I forgot about it.
Practice was... in short.... easy. All I did was a few triple jump drills, get my run up marked, and do a couple block starts.
Because it was such a lovely day and we had time left before the sun disappeared behind the hills we decided to go play Frisbee golf. There is a course on campus that Luke and Passen have played a couple times, but we went to the course that is next to the track where we practice. They said that this course was easier, which was what I needed because it being my first time... I wasn't very good. They had to help instruct me the first few holes, but I got better with each flick of the wrist. I had a lot of fun, and have decided to join the boys in their obsession with the sport.
For dinner we have decided to become chefs. We made spaghetti with hamburger meat and Ragu, potatoes, and a broccoli/cheese/rice steamable. It was all rather delicious.
Saturday was a day to test one's nerves and patience. We left at 6 am to go to Austin Peay for a meet not much bigger than the A&M meet. There were 4 teams, so there was only one heat of everything but the distance races. We thought that it would be over in the blink of an eye, but learned that assuming is a terrible idea. The first half of the meet zipped by, and I planned to warm up with plenty of (but not too much) time before my 400. Unfortunately the genius running the meet decided to slow things down, so it took 25 minuets for one heat of the girls 100 hurdles and guys 110 hurdles to ensue. I thought there would be one heat of the 1500s because the heat sheet said there would be, but there ended up being 3 of each. There was so much time in between each race too. By the time it even came close to my race I was tired from trying to stay warm. I was ready though, so I went and set up my blocks on the line. We were all ready and standing behind our blocks when the started told us they weren't quite ready so we should relax. About 5 minuets later the guys working the computer said, "We need to reset the camera." So the starter said, "Just relax ladies. It will be a few minuets." Then after about 7 more minuets the guy said, "We have to reboot the computer." A girl a few lanes behind me yelled out, "Can we get some water?" At that, we all walked off the track. I got a sip and tired to move around the field to keep my legs ready. That took about 10 more minuets for them to finally get all the equipment ready. Finally we all returned to the line to get this long anticipated race over with. They did a test fire with the gun to make sure it is working properly because it was having issues with many of the previous races. "Runners take your marks. Set." *click* *click* *click*. The gun wouldn't fire. So the starter told up to stand up and try it again. "Runners to your marks. Set." *click* *pow*. The gun fired on his second attempt, but because those of us close to him heard the click and lowered ourselves we had to jump out of the blocks. Thankfully he called us back. Third times the charm... right? "Runners take your marks. Set." *click* *click* *click*. Everyone stood up, and I just fell over sideways. I got up and jumped around a bit while the starter fiddled with the gun. At this point I had lost any bit of nervousness that I had, and just wanted to get this stupid thing over with. Finally on the 4th try the gun went off. I have no idea what I ran. I'll let you know when I find out though. I didn't get a chance to eat after that race because there were only a few races before the 4x400. I had a banana, but didn't have time to eat enough before I had to start warming up again. The relay was supposed to be Me, Julia, Latrice, Staisha. Latrice hurt her hip. Rebecca couldn't do it because she hurt her hamstring in the 4x100. CT was determined that Julia and I had to run this race... not for times... just because we "needed to do another run." All this was to her was another practice. She went through a whole list of girls on the team before she finally found Jac. Jac didn't seem too excited when she heard the news. Julia was still jumping when the race was about to start. She finished her last attempt while I was running. She ran over and run third leg. Again I have no clue what our time was. It wasn't pretty though. It was strange running the 4x400 because all the first legs were the same girls that I ran the 400 with. It was like Dejavu. We all passed each other at the exact same place as the 400. It felt kind of strange. I almost forgot... triple jump. I scratched all 4 jumps. The first one my left leg was on the board, and I was going to go ahead and try to jump, but realized that my body didn't know how to do it that way. My second attempt I had the correct leg, but my knee buckled when I tried to jump so I couldn't get to the next phase without killing myself. The third I hit with my left again. The fourth was another buckle. I told CT I would try to jump again at JSU if I actually got to practice some. Luke gave me a lecture on not jumping because it only makes my knees worse and my back hurt. I will look like a fool at regionals when I stuck in the triple, but I really don't need to get hurt like the rest of our team. It is pitiful how many people are hurt on our team. Our coaches have no brains. I have a long rant about that, but this post is already long enough.
As for today... Sunday, it is Wold Poetry Day. Everyone should try to write a poem. It doesn't have to be long or even rhyme. Poetry is good for you. I will share a little one that I wrote in my head a couple weeks ago.
For every breath you exhale
will follow inhales of mine.
Together we will synchronize
until it comes the time
when both our breaths grow shallow
and our hearts begin to slow
Together we will breath as one
and our love will ever grow.
Its cheesy, and I am not happy with the last line because I forced it for the sake of rhyming. I normally don't write rhyming poems, but this one just happened that way.
Yesterday was the first day of spring. Sadly for the people of Royse City it snowed. It is raining here today, so we don't get to play disk golf. Time to eat some Raviolis. Tomorrow is National Goof Off Day... act goofy or wear something silly.

Home and Happy
Operation Surprise was a success. I am enjoying my time at home, and am really glad Luke and I decided to make the drive. Saturday I got a hair cut. Hooray! Sunday I got to see Karen preach for the first time. I liked her sermon. It was the story of the prodigal son which I have heard many many times, but she had a different approach on it which was refreshing. I rather enjoyed it. I surprised Abuelo and Abuela, and they were really happy to see me. Last night Danni and I sat in her room for hours and cut from magazines. Luke and Dad sat in the kitchen for hours trying to make his phone "cooler". Whatever that means. Today I would like to spend more time outside. Danni and I walked around outside Saturday, but I'd like to spend more time in the nice weather. Maybe a makeshift baseball game. I would also like to try and send Ingrid Michaelson a letter today.

Guess what I did yesterday. Parallel parked for the first time ever, and I did it all by myself! I have never ever parallel parked before. Never. Its not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. It was actually pretty easy. It made me feel better after I took the never ending test in Transportation.
The swine flue has made its way to Frank Franz room 134. We were going to go look at apartments yesterday, but when I came back from my physics class Julia told me plans had changed. She had to drive Leah halfway home to meet her mom because Leah has caught the swine flu. If Julia doesn't get it I will be shocked. She and Leah are always together, and Julia is asthmatic. I hope for her that she doesn't get it, but I find it unlikely.
I'm send something home, and you guys should get it by Saturday. Just an "I miss you guys" package.
I need to get a haircut. The last time I got my hair cut was last April. If I wait another month, it will have been a year since the last time. I have been thinking about it since August, but I always forget. Once Luke and I were at Walmart and I was going to get it cut there, but they closed just before I got to it. I want my hair to look healthy.
Time to study for my physics test.

What a Lovely Morning!
What movie is the title from?
Like wrapping paper I have decided to boycott straws and plasticware. They are an absolute waste. Usually in the caf I get my drink and grab a straw because they are right there, but no more. They are a waste of plastic and paper. Just drink out of the cup! As for plasticware, I think I'm going to start carrying a fork and spoon in my purse so I can use them instead of a plastic one. If where ever I go has regular silverware, I will use it, but plastic is out! I found this picture and liked it.

Last night Luke, Passen, and I watched the Star Trek movie. I like it quite a bit. Made me want to watch the tv show.
Tomorrow is Employee Appreciation Day, so if you have employees you should appreciate them. If you are an employee you should appreciate yourself.
Today's weather was... hot. It has been so cold and/or windy and cloudy and miserable lately that today was a shock. I want it to be that temp for practice, but a gradual increase would have been nice. God just decided to slap us with beautiful weather, so our intestines baked while we were at the track. Sadly it is supposed to rain until next Tuesday. As long as it doesn't snow anymore.

Sunday Sunday Sunday
I don't have a video for you this weekend, but I'm sure Luke does. He threw the javelin and pole vaulted yesterday. The jav went 121 feet. He said his goal was at least 100, so I think he did well. Passen threw 160. His pr is 170, so it was a good season opener. The two of them did the usual video analyzing for the pv and now the have jav to pick apart. Passen obviously knows quite a bit about that, so he is teaching Luke how. By the time they got to jump yesterday, it was a race against the sun. There were no lights around the track, so after it got dark it would be Very dark. They should have jumped much much sooner, but the high school boys came in at 6 feet..... SIX FEET! That's is the same height the HS girls came in at. It was a terrible idea on A&M's part to mix high school and college, because they are nowhere near organized enough to run a meet like that. It was pathetic. Luke says he never want to go to that meet again. I don't blame him. I hated competing there last year. Our faces got a little red. We didn't wear sunscreen because we only expected to be there a few hours before the sun decided to start attacking, but we ended up losing our entire day and getting a slight burn. At least it was windy enough to wear jackets so the rest of our bodies are still pale. Richard walked in to our living room while we were watching the pv videos, and when we turned to look at him, he laughed and said,"All your faces are red!" Speaking of Richard, his grandma died last night, so keep him and his love ones in your prayers. Passen's birthday was yesterday, so we invited him over to watch a movie. He brought one of his that he wanted to see, Evolution. It was funny, and I was wanting to see that movie, so I enjoyed it. I think we are going to watch another one and eat some baked spaghetti with him tonight. Luke might go play frizbee golf with him. I am getting kind of hungry now, so I'm going to go eat.

Well, we ended up not making it to nationals by one spot. The same thing happened to them last year in indoor. Its okay. Time to get ready for outdoor.
I forgot to tell you about my monthly challenge. For February I set a goal to take my medications every single day (I'm pretty good at forgetting), and I did it! I took them every day of February, and now that I'm in the habit I should take them every day for the rest of the semester. Summer is going to throw me off though. I have no structured schedule, so I lose track of everything.
I had a dream that Luke and I went home for a visit and Joseph had 5 new tattoos. Sterling and Karen didn't look very pleased, but there was nothing they could do because it was permanent.
Toasted strawberry PopTarts are wonderful. I just ate some, and they made my taste buds sing.
Yesterday while I was doing dead lift during practice, I realized that the weight I have been struggling with is starting to get easier. I have also bumped up my weight in bench press. Luke is getting stronger too. You can actually see a difference in his arms. You can't tell as much with me, but I can feel a difference. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right. Apparently it is paying off too because I have done pretty well this season so far.
I'm off to go pole vault. Have a splendid day!

The link is not on yet, but it will be sometime today. We know that Richard is going for sure, but we are still sitting on the fence. I had a dream last night that they decided to only take 5 teams. Then they changed their mind to 10. Sadly we were still left out.
There are only 2 days left until Alice in Wonderland comes out. I'm pretty excited. I want to see the midnight showing, but that will only happen if Luke gets his paper done Thursday night. Otherwise, it will have to wait until Friday evening.
I have been eating an organic applesauce that my mom sent with me. It was really good, and when I ran out I decided that I wanted to get more applesauce. At Walmart I got the Motts Original which is what I used to eat almost every day of high school. I just had my first bite, and it was terrible. I'm not sure if it was because I ate it after a bagel with cream cheese, or because it is much sweeter than the organic kind. Hopefully it will get better, because I can't handle it if it keeps tasting like that.
Smitty is sick, so she keeps trying to blow her nose. I want to tell her to stop the nonsense because there is nothing in there to come out. I can hear it. NOTHING! Because she isn't getting anything out that way she is constantly hawking lugies. Constantly. Yesterday morning it was every 3 min for 2 hours. I guess she hasn't figured out that that method doesn't really work either. I am very experienced with sick, miserable, congested, and coughing. I have learned many tricks, and I know that things that you just can't do anything about until the medicine kicks it out. I want to tell her to stop blowing her nose before it gets so raw on the outside and the inside and before she blows her ear drums out of her head. I would also like to tell her that while spitting the junk out is better than swallowing it, you can't force it up like that. It comes when it wants to, and trying to make it come out will not work. You barely get anything up, and it does nothing to help the problem. Sorry to share that with you for anyone who doesn't like "gross" things.
I had more to talk about earlier, but I can't remember it now. I have to leave for class in 15 min.
Can anyone name where my title is from?

Share A Smile Day
I don't think anyone needs instruction on how to celebrate today. Just smile at people. It makes them feel smile back which can make them feel better. If they don't smile back, then they obviously don't read my blog.
This weekend was another long one. We last Friday evening at 6 and drove to Columbus, IN. We left there at 11:30 Saturday morning and drove to Anderson, IN. Anderson University was nice. It was covered in snow, but it seems like everywhere we go there is snow. I am tired of snow. No mo sno. The meet was fun and the facility was really nice. Everyone on our team won their event, so we all won a t-shirt. If you haven't seen the video of the 4x4, it is below this post. After the meet we stopped at Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious. We drove a little that night, but the coaches were too tired to go all 7 hours. So we stopped at a hotel and drove the rest of the way Sunday morning. We are currently 12th on the national list. Last year they took 10, so we have to wait until tomorrow to find out if we get to go or not.
I have an Economy test tomorrow, and I'm a bit nervous about it.
I can't believe March is already here. The months go by so quickly.
Next weekend at A&M I am not going to run if we go to nationals, but if we don't I might try pole vault or something fun. I'm looking forward to the weekend off
I had a dream that I got a puppy for my birthday. It was exciting.
I'm going to have some strawberry poptarts now.
