Evil Plan and then some

I did this from the link posted on Danni's blog... http://www.darksites.com/evilplan.php
This is my Evil Plan:
Your objective is simple: Widespread Misery.
Your motive is a little bit more complex: Madness
Stage One
To begin your plan, you must first clone a town mascot. This will cause the world to sense a grave disturbance in the force, amazed by your arrival. Who is this criminal mastermind? Where did they come from? And why do they look so good in your wizard's robes?
Stage Two
Next, you must vaporize that opera house in Sydney. This will all be done from a amusement park, a mysterious place of unrivaled dark glory. Upon seeing this, the world will weep uncontrollably, as countless hordes of mad scientists hasten to do your every bidding.
Stage Three
Finally, you must unleash your secret death ray, bringing about an end to sanity. Your name shall become synonymous with the spice girls, and no man will ever again dare call you names. Everyone will bow before your mystical abilities, and the world will have no choice but to whisper your name in fear.

I don't remember the last time I wrote a blog. I think it was Friday. I ended up going to Smitty's birthday dinner. I didn't want to go because I would rather stay and watch the track meet. But then I realized I was being selfish. I don't care that much about my birthday. I don't need lavish gifts and for everyone to attend my party to worship me. I just like to spend time with my loved ones... and a pink lemonade icebox pie. I realized that Smitty was terribly excited about turning 21... with the whole "Hooray I can drink legally!" thing. I knew I wouldn't be an important guest, but once I realized I was being selfish I remembered my life goal... to put others before myself. I was very disappointed that the only thing I got to see was the women's 60m and the men's mile, but its okay. Life does go on. There will be many more track meets to watch in my life time.
Yesterday I cleaned up the living room. Went to the guys basketball game... which we won. Then we came back to watch the winter X Games. While we were watching it Julia asked everyone what we wanted to do. I said, "Well currently the X Games." She said, "Oh I know, but after that." I said, "I haven't thought that far into the future yet." She said, "Okay. Well you let me know when you get there." I couldn't help myself. I just wanted to be obnoxious. All the times she has to have control over whats happening and be in charge of what we do next, and it was so easy to rob her of it. So then after the X Games ended Sports Center came on. She said, "So what do you guys want to do now?" I said, "Sports Center is on now." She gave a sarcastic woohoo. I know that when Julia says What do we want to do, no one is going to say anything. Then she will come up with something and no one will go against. So again by saying that I robbed her of her control. I feel like a jerk now, but it was very satisfying and funny at the time. I don't regret it though because I wanted to watch Sports Center, and she would have taken it from me like the time we were watching tennis, or the other times she and Leah cancel my plans or ideas. If its not their idea, its not a good idea. It took me a while to figure this out, but I've finally caught on. And if you don't kiss their butts, you aren't in on their little bestie friends fest. Yes... its true. I'm bitter. I'm tired of being treated the way people have treated me my entire life. I need to get it out to someone other than Luke. I don't like confrontation so it won't be to them though. I didn't plan to write any of this... it just kind of happened with my story. I'm done now.
I think I'll tell lazy Luke to get his bum out of bed and go to the caf with me now. I'm hungry.

Happy Puzzle Day!

Today everyone must work on a puzzle in order to celebrate! Luke and I are going to do the puzzle he got for Christmas from Santa at my house.
It is freezing and raining today. We got a text from CT saying that practice was at Spragins today. Then we got a second text saying practice is canceled. Hooray! Now all I need is for Dr. Strong to cancel physics. I doubt it, but i can always wish.
Today is Smitty's birthday. She planned her birthday dinner at 7... the Millrose Games start at 7. I'd rather not spend the money to eat, and just watch the track meet that I have been waiting for for a month now. I have decided that I will get her some kind of small gift, stop by her dinner, deliver the gift and chat a bit. Then I will come back here and settle on the couch with my snuggie and something to eat.
I need Jana's school address.
Luke and I had an argument... about dogs. We were discussing what kind we would get when the time comes. I said dachshund. He said bulldog. I said, "No bulldog because it will take up too much space on the bed." He said, "What do you mean? The dog isn't going to sleep on the bed." I said, "Oh yes it is! I have had dogs sleeping in my bed my whole life, and I'm not going to stop now because you don't like it." He said, "Okay, but it has to stay on your side."
THIS JUST IN...... I got a text from the emergency system on campus, and school is closed at 12 due to winter storms. Hooray! My wish came true. No class today!!! Good thing I haven't changed out of my pajamas.
I'm curious to know who reads my blog. I know Granny wanted to, but I don't know if she does. Danni follows me from her blog, mom and dad comment, and Luke tries to read it over my shoulder.
I did it! I just asked Lyndsey if she wanted to get Starbucks and she said yes! I wrote in my goal book this morning, "Ask Lyndsey out", and now I get to check it off. Dr. Lenard was right. You should write down all your goals, because it puts you that much closer to reaching them.
I'm going to go do something productive now. Oh yeah... don't forget to watch the winter X Games. The Super Pipe was awesome last night. Snow boarding is my favorite part. The tricks on skis is my second.

Happy Kazoo Day!

Today should be a good day. Only one class. X Games at 8. Not too difficult practice. I think we are doing the run 100 walk back 50 workout. So that means 16 100s. Then we finish it off with a 450. Tomorrow is Smitty's birthday, so when she goes to sleep at like 9 we are going to decorate her side or the mirror and the living room in her honor. I think she will be 21. She sent out a facebook message to a bunch of her friends here, and it says that we are going to Casa Blanca for dinner on Friday, and Saturday she and others are going to a bar. We(Julia, Leah, Luke and I) have decided no bar for us. Just Casa Blanca. I heard that place was good. I've never been though.
Yesterday we worked on block starts at practice. Luke pole vaulted. My camera has over 120 videos on it... almost all of pole vault. Luke never deletes them off after he puts them on the computer. I think he finally did the other day.
I really should write these at night so I can remember stuff to actually write. I am having a hard time remembering yesterday. I'm really bad about that.
I got something in the mail from my bank, and I don't know what it is. I guess at some point in the day I will need to talk to my mom or papi to get it cleared up.

Well...

Sorry I have taken so long to write a new post. I have just been busy... busy dreadfully busy. You've on idea what I have to do. Busy, Busy, dreadfully busy. Much much to busy for you.
Yesterday at practice we ran 4 500s. I think today is block starts.
I have one of those ulcer sores on the back right side of my tongue, and my teeth keep hitting it. Now it just hurts to even move my tongue. It's rather painful.
Tomorrow is Kazoo Day. If you have one, you should play it as much as possible. If not... I guess you can just hum while holding your nose.
I found out yesterday that my first physics test will be the same day that I will be gone to Indiana. I'm going to have to notify my teacher and take the makeup on Monday.
This Friday... Millrose Games. ESPN2. 7pm. I'm excited.
I know I had more to talk about yesterday, but I can't remember it right now.

Go Watch the Amazing Luke Jump!

Cleaning Day

Today I am going to clean. I have made a list of things to do, and I will finish it. I'm even going to tie a bandanna around my face so I can dust. It needs to be done.
Yesterday was Measure Your Feet Day, but I was in Indiana, so I missed it. I still think you should measure your feet and share your results. I will do so once I find something to measure with. I might measure them with a few things other than inches... like paper clips, hot tamales, or toilet paper squares.
Congrats to my Starfish for jumping a season best yesterday! 15'3", and so so close to 15'9".
Richard Wilson ran 6.87 in the semis, and 6.86 in the finals... the provisional time for nationals is 6.88, so he is on the list... first meet!
Lots of school records were broken. CT was really excited the first day. People kept breaking records and she would yell with excitement, but then when Rebeca didn't get the 400 record her mood dropped exponentially fast. I did nothing the first day, but the second day didn't end up well for me either. After my 200 I went to sit by myself behind some boxes, but Luke found me. Luke says I ran better than I think I did on the 4x400. He said it was a 60.something. All I have to say is, "I hate indoor." My leg was faster then Julia's, and I have the only true leg. After that I went and looked for a new hiding place, and Luke didn't find me. Coach Cain told me to not be so hard on myself, but its not that easy.
Tomorrow is Opposite Day, so if you are confused by my post, just think in opposites.
On the way to Indiana I read The Looking Glass Wars. I read almost all the entire way there. I read on the way back, and even when it got dark I used my cell phone light to read. I was 10 pages from finishing when my phone died. So today I'm going to finish it. Maybe before I start cleaning.

Happy National Buttercrunch Day!

I wish I had a Butterfinger to eat, but i don't. Tomorrow, National Hugging Day, will be much easier to celebrate.
I have a dilemma and would like some advice. There is this girl in all my MWF classes. She was in my surveying and chemistry class last semester, so pretty much we are going to be taking classes together for the next couple years. She likes to run, so that is 2 things we have in common. I would like to take our relationship to the next level... friends outside of class.... but I don't know how. Do I ask her to go somewhere like to eat lunch or something like that? I don't want to just say, "Do you want to hang out sometime?" That is too open ended. I wouldn't bring her here because there is nothing to do in our room but watch tv. I guess I could ask her if she wanted to study together some time. I have never had to do this before because I just happened to make friends with Johnna in a class and we continued to have classes together every year for 6 years. Leah and Julia were kind of forced upon me. Leah was my room mate, and after she and Julia became best friends Julia just came with the Leah package. They are like one unit. Not sold separately. So I would like some advice, because Luke hasn't helped me very much with it.
Today was a good day. Dinner in the caf was good. My classes went well. Friday we leave at 6:30 to go to Indiana. CT and I talked today. She said she believes in me. Now I just have to believe in me. The relay order is Me, Leah, Julia, Stasha. The second time we go to Indiana the order (depending on how this meet goes for me, Julia, and Leah) should be Me, Rebecca, Julia, and Leah. I'm just ready for outdoor to come.
Its time for me to work on physics homework. Good night.

Happy 19th!

Today was a fruitful day. Because my entry this morning was no good, I will write one now.
Today at practice we ended up running the 300/100 workout, but we only did 2 sets instead of 3. I did rather well. I did my first one with Leah and owned her. I did my second one alone, but still did great according to Luke and others. At the meet this weekend I am running the 200 and the 4x400. I'm the first leg of the relay. Luke will be pole vaulting.
After practice I ate a PBJ, almonds, an apple, some Cracklin Oat Bran, a Nutri-Grain bar (apple cinnamon), and a cheese stick.
I had my first physics lab tonight. We played with pendulums. Lucky for I already knew what it was going to do when changes were made. Thank you Mr. Smith.
Dinner in the caf was really good tonight. It was all really good. It made my night.
Now I'm going to work on my Transportation paper. Don't forget that tomorrow is National Buttercrunch Day. Thursday is National Hugging Day.

Back to School

I liked not having class yesterday. I have economy this afternoon, and my first physics lab this evening.
Last night I watched Serena Williams own her first match of the Australian Open. She is amazing. So much muscle and power. I didn't get to see Venus though.
I am having a hard time focusing on anything right now, so this won't be very good.
Today at practice we have 6 250s. It's pole vault day for Luke. He is taking the camera to set up and record himself. Then he will watch it later to see what he needs to work on... since Coach Cain only knows what he has read out of magazines and from Google.
I can't think of anything else to say right now.
I'm going to eat some applesauce.

MLK Day

Yesterday was... boring. I cut out of magazines. Text books were read. The Australian Open was watched until my room mates came in with a scary movie. I guess they were oblivious or just didn't care that I, and three other people were watching it. While making popcorn Julia asked about 4 times if everyone was ready to put the movie in. No one answered because we were watching tennis, but she asked yet again. Finally, while we were watching Roddick and De Bokkem duke it out she asked again and someone else said said yes. That's when Luke and I left and went to play Mad Gab in my room. Then we watched an episode of Bones.
One thing I do know is that on January 29 at 7 pm Luke and I will be on the couch watching the Millrose Games on ESPN2. I don't care what movie they happen to bring in. I have it written on my calendar that we will be watching some track and field. Julia and Leah don't really care about professional track. They barely know anything about track other than run fast, throw far, jump high/far. I tried to have a conversation with Leah last year, but it was a flop.
Today we have no school, but we do have practice. I think today is the day we find out who is going to Bloomington, Indiana this weekend.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! comin' at cha

Yesterday for National Nothing Day I ended up not cleaning even though I started to a few times I remembered and put whatever it was back on the ground. I ended up not doing homework either, but that is what today and tomorrow are for. And I will clean my room today. Last night Luke and I went to the basketball game. It was against UNA, our "rivalry". Its not like they are really our rivalry, but we have to do something to get fans in the stands. Its tough at a nerd school like UAH to have people attend sporting events. Usually the only people that go are parents, frats and sororities, and other UAH athletes. Surprisingly when we got to Spragins Hall the stands were full. It was the most people I've seen in that gym ever. The game was exciting. There were lots of good moves, dunks, and even and alioop. In the end we won 87-78. The game was really close almost the whole time. It was a lot of fun. Definatly the most exciting I've been to at UAH.
Wednesday is National Buttercrunch Day... what is buttercrunch? Could I eat a Butterfinger to celebrate?
At the game last night Luke and I got 2 free chicken sandwich cards each. That will be our lunch for today. I'm going to have to get some waffle fries too.
For now I'm going to have Cracklin Oat Bran for breakfast.

Happy National Nothing Day!

For today, National Nothing Day, I have decided that you can't actually do nothing. Everyone is always doing something... sitting, breathing, thinking. So for today you should choose something. For example, you can choose to wear nothing on your face (makeup). You can choose to do nothing school related (homework, plan, study). You could choose to do nothing that resembles strenuous activities like getting out of bed, cleaning, working. I personally have decided to eat nothing all day long. jk That would be terrible. I'm having trouble deciding what i want to do. Today I want to do some homework, possibly play stick ball if its nice outside, but if its raining I would like to play basketball. Maybe I will do nothing to improve the current status of my room. I can just clean and organize a bit tomorrow.
I was told on my last post that I sounded like I was ready to move to Seattle... why? I would like to know, so I think you (you know who you are) should tell me... here, via text, or email... your choice.
Luke and I had Subway last night while working on physics homework. We have coupons for buy one 6" and a 32 oz drink and get a 6" free. He got a $5 foot long meatball sub. I got a 6" turkey and a 6" meatball. It was delicious.
I told Leah about the murder mystery game I got for Christmas. She was really excited about it. I think it going to be really fun. For now, we planned it to be the weekend between Indiana and Tennessee. That is our only off weekend for a while, so might as well take advantage of it. By the way, if you would like to see the updated track meet schedule, its on the website. We took group pictures and head shots yesterday at the track... lets see if they actually do something with them before the season ends.
I think I'm going to go lay in bed now.

Nothing of Importance

Well... since I got zero comments from last night's post I'm going to sulk and say that no one read it. I will now ramble about my day to myself.
This morning I decided that I needed to get a Physics book. There were multiple options. I could buy Volume 1 of the book which covers this semester and includes the online homework access code all for $145. If I did that I would have to get Volume 2 next semester for the same price. My third choice was the Extended edition which covered both semesters and included the homework code for $208. So I went to the register and the lady was asked, "You didn't want the binder edition? It's cheaper." I was unaware of this so called "binder edition", and its amazing ability to cost less because the guy who helped me didn't even mention it. So the woman yelled to the back of the store for the guy to show me the binder edition. It ended up being $150, so I took the deal.
We went to the basketball game tonight. The girls lost as usual. The guys won as usual. The guys game was fun until the end when I got sleepy.
I'm considering applying at Hobby Lobby. I haven't made any sure decisions, but I think I should make it before next week, or I'll be deciding until the end of the semester and it will be time to go home. I like Hobby Lobby.

Happy Make Your Dreams Come True Day!

According to my calender today is the special day to make your dreams come true. If I haven't already told you, mom gave me this calender that has all kinds of wonderful holidays in it. I will share all of them with you. Hopefully you can all find a way to celebrate. Sorry for telling you this one so late... I guess you can't celebrate it on it actual day. I don' t know if I should blog in the morning so I can tell you in time to celebrate, or blog in the evening when I can talk about the stuff that happened that day instead of yesterday's old news.
So I went to We Are What We Do, and was looking around. I was sadly a bit disappointed. It wasn't quite what I thought. So I have changed my resolution to Always turn off lights when they are not in use. That means go to Julia and Leah's side and turn all their lights out. I have also started to charge my phone while I'm in my room during the day instead of all night long. It doesn't take all night to charge, so the rest of the time is just wasted energy. I have also stared recycling all my paper. I guess my real resolution is to be more concise of my carbon foot print. I think It has gone well so far. I have also started my Goal Book. In the front of the book is my Short Term Goals. In the back of the book is my Long Term Goals. I write them in there, and after it has been completed I can check it off. The very first on my long term list is Join the Peace Corps. I like the book. I really like the idea of it. I really want to check something off, and it reminds of the things I want, and want to do.
I am rather upset... the Ole Miss meet was removed from our schedule. Why on earth would they do that?! The girls relay qualified for nationals at that meet. I, and many other PR'd at that meet. It is a fast track with lots of good competition. They have lost their minds. Instead of going to that really good meet, we are going to some lame D2 meet that is hosted on a high school track. Gah!
At the end of last semester I lost my ID. I looked everywhere for it. I had to have other people let me into the dorm, and I had to ask them to punch in my number to eat at the caf. So yesterday I went and got a new one made. $20. Not something I was happy to pay for, when I shouldn't have lost it in the first place. I like my picture though. I'm wearing my Texas Tech hoodie which is really big and makes my head look small. My hair is in a ponytail so my ears stick out really far. And to top it off I did a really big cheesy smile. I think it looks rather nice. Maybe if I remember I will scan it and post it on here. Yesterday evening I decided I didn't want to wear my Tech hoodie so I grabbed my UAH one off the hook. I put it on and noticed that my ID was upside down on the ground. Then I realized that I left my id was in my bag, and it hit me like a bolt of lightning. Yes, its true... it was my old ID. It had been in that hoodie pocket, but I hadn't worn it in a while, so it stayed hidden and forced me to stand outside in the cold waiting for someone to come in or out of the dorm so I could get inside. I was so bummed out. I had just wasted $20. I kept putting off buying a new one because I thought I could find it. If only I had worn that hoodie sooner. Gah!
On a lighter note, I only have one class tomorrow and it isn't until 3:55. Tuesday was the same, but starting next week I will also have a lab from 6-8 pm. It gives me lots of time to do homework. Yesterday I used the time to errands done... like get a new ID. I think I'm going to buy a physics book. I have to take the second one next semester, and I think it will be beneficial to have my own instead of trying to share. I'm going to check out prices tomorrow during my free morning.
One last thing... my workout was great today. CT even said good job, and hugged me afterward. We did 3 sets of run a 300, rest 45 sec, run a 100. That is a tough workout, but its one of my favorite hard workouts. Yesterday morning for breakfast I only had cereal and had a ok workout. Today I had oatmeal, apple sauce, and half a bagel. I am going to try to eat like that every day so I can have more great workouts.
It is now time for me to say goodnight.

Spring 2010

Yesterday was my first day of my fourth semester. I had three classes: Intro to Transportation, Physics, and Calculus C. In transportation we got our syllabus and first homework assignment. We have to read chapters 1 and 2, choose a topic on the assignment sheet that we care about, and write a two page paper over it. In Physics we went over the syllabus and started chapter one. Rachel (a sprinter from our team) walked to class together, and when we got there the classroom was nearly full. What you have to understand about this classroom is that it is what we call our amphitheatre. In other words, there we SO many people in there. The biggest class I have ever been in here at UAH. I took my freshman chemistry in that room, and with 60 people we didn't even fill it halfway. We had to walk about 3/4 of the way up the stairs before we found a seat. Good thing the lesson is projected onto a rather large screen at the front so we can still see easily. In Cal C we went over the syllabus and started our lesson. Last semester in Cal B we learned through section 10.5. In Cal C we start on section 10.1. This is a 2 hour class twice a week. The first hour wasn't too bad. I payed attention and took notes, even though I already have notes on that section. By the time the second hour rolled around I started to feel like my body was smushing or melting down into the seat. Does anyone else know that feeling? I usually get it when I'm sitting down and bored out of my mind. I felt that way everyday when I took drivers ed. Like my body was shrinking or just becoming more and more compressed. I was so happy when 7:30 finally came. My professor looked at his watch and said, "I still have 30 seconds, but I guess I'll let you go." He is kind of difficult to understand if you aren't giving your full attention to understanding him, but Josh said as long as I write what he writes on the board I'll be set.
I just realized how very long this is so far... sorry.
If you haven't lost interest yet...
Practice today was terrible. 6 250s with 2 min rest. It was so cold. I hate cold. When I join the Peace Corps I don't want to go anywhere really cold. Rachel and I were talking about the cold yesterday. She was born in the Virgin Islands, eventually moved to Georgia, and then moved to New York. She hates the cold of New York, and she hates snow. I liked snow when I was younger, but the last time it snowed enough to play with in RC (a long time ago) I got over snow very quickly. Danni and I went outside to play with winter's wonderful white gift. After playing for a while I got cold and went inside. My hands were so cold and hurt so bad that it made me mad at the snow for being such a jerk. It seduces you with all its beauty and wonder, but then it just steals all the warmth from your body and makes your hands feel like they are on fire. Then and there I decided that snow was over rated. I would love to go outside and make a snowman with anyone willing because it makes for great pictures, but past that, I refuse. I like to stand in the flurries for a few min too, but not long enough that I turn into Rudolph.
I have a lot more to talk about, but I will give your poor eyes a break and write about it tomorrow. My spell check isn't working either, so I'm sure there are mistakes all over the place... ignore them.

Happy New Year! 2010

Today is the first of the new year. It is also the first of a new decade. In 54 days I will be 2 decades old.
I have decided to go with my We Are What We Do resolution. My goal is to do 2 a week, so this week I have chosen to do:
Hug Someone
Write A Letter

These are very small things, but the more you do them the more impact you have. I'm starting off with easy tasks and working my way up. If lots of people did little things here and there one would be surprised at how much of a difference it can make. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
